Where To Find The Flower Template On Cricut Design Space

Want a fun beginner's project and learn how to employ Cricut Design Space at the same time?

I love making templates for 3D projects and especially paper flowers. They can exist used in so many projects.

This is a tutorial for how to weld and make the rolled newspaper flower inside Cricut Design Space yourself.

The only part of the rolled paper flower template that is difficult to recreate in Design Space is the spiral base.

Uploading a Screw Base

A quick note on opening Zip files from Design Space: Yous need to open the Zip file and take out the SVG files to exist able to upload. If you don't want to do that, an culling is to right click on the zip binder and select "open up".

Making a Petal Template

We are now going to make the petals. The easiest petal for this initial tutorial is a circle. A circle is easy considering y'all won't have to rotate it to add it to the spiral.

Apply the Shapes Cost in the Left tool bar. Brand a modest circle no bigger than an inch wide (utilise the grid lines to help).

Welding the Petals to the Spiral in Cricut Design Space

First, we demand to duplicate the circle many times over. To do this, Select the circle and click on the "Duplicate" key in the upper correct hand corner.

Welding Everything Together

Now that you have all the circle petals in the right place, we need to combine everything.

This is were the Weld tool comes into play.

Select everything on your canvas. (Short cutting "Ctrl" + "A")

Click "Weld" in the lower right hand corner of the screen.

The template should be all in one color now and all the different cuts on the side should accept complanate into i cut.
